Students took part in a science experiment looking at how to create fireproof balloons and the science behind them.

 

 

 

 

Paul set the challenge to the students to create fireproof ballons. He asked one of the students to test a standard balloon over a candle to see how long it would last, lets see what happened:

 

 Later on in the lesson Paul tests out his amazing fireproof balloon with the students, I wonder how did he do that?

Finally Christophe asked what would happen if we put a balloon over a kettle of boiling water? There was only one way to find out.
