Children in the primary classroom have been working hard during our Arts Award week. Look at the fantastic owl that Charley has made!

First he scrunched newspaper into the correct shape and secured with masking tape. Then he used modrock (a plaster bandage that is used for modelling) and painted with acrylic paints. For the finishing touches he added buttons, beads, pipe cleaners, feathers and googly eyes. Charley is now in the process of designing and making a model house - his owl will sit on a branch in the garden. Watch out for photographs of the completed project next week!
