THE DOOR.

Go and open the door.

Maybe there’s

A seed in the ground

With a little patience

It will grow into a tall and beautiful tree.

Maybe there’s

Something exciting,

Like wildlife,

Like animals.

 

Go and open the door.

You might find something fun,

Something that you like.

 

Go and open the door.

There might be a picture,

Of a picture

Of a scene

That happened very long ago.

 

Go and open the door.

At least there will be a draught.
