The young people at Lavender Walk celebrated World Book Day with a Bumper Quiz complete with prizes (a favourite was copies of ‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’).

Students proved to be experts on Roald Dahl, book covers, protagonists from YA fantasy, and more. Four students also drew illustrations based on their favourite books or characters, and presented them to the group. One prolific reader presented her Top Ten series and authors to the group – so we have a serious amount of recommended reading to do! A bit THANK YOU to our Literacy Coordinator Charlotte for making sure we all have World Book Day tokens to go shopping with.
