Students at Lavender Walk have been working with musicians from City of London Sinfonia (CLS) in an online series of workshops exploring loops, repetition, and sequences using music technology, online links, and live instruments to create their own compositions.
An exhibition of work by young people from Lavender Walk is on display in the entrance hall to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital until August 15th. Students worked with Jackie Walduck and Chloe Cooper, exploring mesmeric colour, drips, swirls across audio and visual media - music and Turkish Paper Marbling.

Just before the Christmas break, City of London Sinfonia, featuring sound artist Gawain Hewitt and Ruth Molins trombonist, along with Fiona Lambert their Director of Participation, delivered a workshop for young people on the Lavendar Walk unit.
