Students at LW examined and dissected hearts. It was fascinating to see the arteries and veins and especially the valves. Everyone got involved, even the doctors 🙂 Lots of fun had by all!
An exhibition of work by young people from Lavender Walk is on display in the entrance hall to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital until August 15th. Students worked with Jackie Walduck and Chloe Cooper, exploring mesmeric colour, drips, swirls across audio and visual media - music and Turkish Paper Marbling.

Celebrating difference in LGBT+ History month the young people wrote poems based on some of the difficulties members of the LGBT+ Community have faced in the past - using Maya Angelou's 'Still I Rise' poem as inspiration.

Students at Lavender Walk are working with musicians from City of London Sinfonia (CLS) in a series of online workshops using music technology, online links, and live instruments to create their own compositions.
