After finishing her GCSE exams, Demi-Lea learned to blanket stitch! She cut out, stuffed and sewed all the letters of the alphabet in felt before attaching Velcro to the back of them. Demi-Lea showed great talent with her sewing, and we were particularly impressed as she had not previously sewn anything using blanket stitch. Demi-Lea then made a board for the letters to go on, which she covered with felt. Demi-Lea made the letters and the board for her young nephew to help him learn his letters. We think he is very lucky indeed to receive such a beautiful, hand-made present! Well done Demi-Lea.
