To mark the Chinese New Year (Thursday 7th February) Harry (8) painted this scary looking dragon in Art at the Brompton.

 

 

 

At first with Harry (8), we looked at different styles of dragons inspired by the Chinese New Year. Harry then drew an outline of his own dragon drawing on ideas from his research including the colours as well as form.

Using poster paint and gold acrylic brought out the dragons fierce features and this has added to its success as a wonderful piece of work.
