As part of our 4 week project with musicians from Wigmore Hall we have been exploring African rhythms and musical influences.
Have a listen to the amazing music we made together on weeks 2 and 3.

On week two we were focussing on city-scapes from different parts of Africa and used a ‘Rai’ rhythm for which we had the words ‘sand in my shoes itches my feet’; and in week 3 we explored music from Egypt.
