We are pleased to announce that Eddie Caveney, our intrepid volunteer, collected his well earned reward for more than 100 hours of volunteering in Kensington & Chelsea at the Value You Awards Ceremony on Friday 5th June.

 

The ceremony took place in the Mayor’s Parlour at Kensington Town Hall where Eddie was presented with his certificate.

Eddie has worked tirelessly for the school as a minibus driver over the past 20 years. He is always willing and ready to drive the children round in our minibus at very short notice. It would be difficult to arrange these visits sometimes without Eddie’s help. Eddie is always happy to clean the minibus, keep it full of petrol and will take it to the garage for us.

Eddie also helps out on other occasions. We recently had our 25 year anniversary and Eddie was extremely helpful picking and dropping off equipment and ferrying people around. He was also happy to drive people home after the event.

We really do value Eddie’s input to the school and it is lovely that he has received recognition for all his efforts over the years.
